A trip for the real 'history freak' who wants to know everything about ancient cities of Pinara and Sidymae.

Through the nice surroundings of Fethiye we drive to Esenkoy where we leave the asphalt road behind us and continue off-road through unspoilt nature to Minare Pinara. The city was one of the important ones of the Lycian Union and had the right to three votes alongside the other major cities of Xanthos, Tlos, Patara, Myra and Olympus. After a tour of approx. 1,5 hour through this fascinating site we head for Alinca where we have lunch on a location with a spectacular view over the coast. Trip ends with another interesting visit of the ancient city of Sidymae.
