Funwheelers holiday concept is based on organizing tailor made holidays for people who wants to discover Turkey in an adventurous and active way. Travelling with own 4wheeldrives, equipment, personnel and guides you see, besides the famous Lycian coast, also different landscapes in the backcountry and you get acquainted with different lifestyles, cultures and people. All our trips are the ideal starting point for a relaxed, adventurous and well cared for holiday. Off-roading is the flavouring on our trips and gives an extra meaning to your holiday.

On our trips we always seek to balance out these main ingredients in an equal way. We stick to the itinerary and programmed accommodations but we are never in a hurry. You have enough time and possibilities for enjoying and experiencing nature in your own way. You’re also free to participate in our activities, nothing is obliged, a lot is allowed. Our outdoor activities are made up in such a way that everybody, who is a bit sporty, can carry them out. Bring suitable trekking shoes for rocky mountain terrain.
Staying overnight and accommodations:
Our accommodations are carefully selected by ourselves and fit in perfectly with the nature of the trip, adventurous and surprising. No unpersonal 5-star hotels but hospitable atmospheric accommodations in nature. Rooms are clean and equipped with toilet and shower. During your stay you will share your room/tent with a fellow traveller. Arrangement according to age and sex. It is possible to book a single room/tent, a surcharge will be charged then. When we camp we stay at campings on the beach with good wash- and toilet facilities. In that case we provide tents. The only thing you have to bring is your own sleeping bag, towel and mattress.
 Luggage on top of the Land Rovers
Because all luggage is being packed on the roof racks of our Land Rovers we recommend to travel with a soft bag or daypack, no hard cases. Also try to travel light. From experience we know that approx. 7-10 kg of clothing can be enough for 1 week adventuring. In case of a 15 day trip you can make a selection after you arrive for the first week and leave the rest in our office. In that case your luggage will be transferred to the accommodation of your second week.
Food during the trip:
All restaurants we visit on our trips are selected by ourselves and all of them deliver fantastic dishes, servive and atmosphere. The famous Turkish kitchen is well known for its wide range of starters (meze), meats, sea food and vegetarian dishes. When we camp or picknick in the bush we prepare our food on a camp fire. Breakfast includes usually bread, cheese, olives, tomato, egg, marmelade, fruits, orange juice, coffee and tea. If you are vegetarian you can inform us and we'll take this into account.
Participant's profile:
Independent people with a curious and adventurous bias are usually attracted to Funwheelers trips. Minimum age is 6 years. If: you feel healthy in body and mind, you are a good walker and if you can swim, you can participate. Important is a positive attitude, sense of improvisation and a social mind. When you choose for an adventurous holiday you should be prepared for surprises which should be dealed with in a flexible way. Most Funwheelers-travellers sign up alone what makes our groups divers. Because of the adventurous way we travel together, you join in easily. Safety:
At Funwheelers we put safety first. All our 4wheeldrives are equipped with pro-first aid kits, fire extinghuishers, professional roll-cages, safety belts and CB-radio’s. In case of acute medical situations we can be at the place for help in not later than 1 hour. Travel- and cancellation insurance:
Ought to be arranged by yourself. With a good travel insurance, suitale for outdoor- and survival activities, you don’t have to worry about possible risks which can occur during adventuring and outdooring. Flight ticket:
Our Long Trips can be booked with or without flight. You can indicate this on the booking form. A flight ticket booked with us costs € 520,-. This price is included airport tax and without possible extra surcharges charged after booking by airline company and/or Dutch-English-German-Turkish Government. When you choose for a Long Trip without flight you can easily arrange a flight ticket from a travel agency/operator or through one of the companies below:

We can't give information in advance about flight times or with which airline will be flown. Not later than 1 week before departure you will receive this information together with the tickets. Airport of arrival is Dalaman. Airport transfer from/to Dalaman is not included.
Costs as from 2 persons are € 30,- or GBP 20,- pp. per transfer (1 person € 60,-). Costs for transfers from/to Antalya are on request. Visa:
For entering Turkey you need a valid passport and tourist visa. Costs for a visa are not included in our price. A tourist visa costs € 10,- or GBP 10,- to be paid at the airport on arrival. How to book:
